INTEGRATION

When selecting individual stocks, we take into account sustainability
aspects that go beyond the company-wide minimum ESG standards.

INTEGRATION

Berücksichtigung von Nachhaltigkeitsaspekten bei der Titelauswahl unserer Fonds
Fonds entsprechen Artikel 8 der Offenlegungsverordnung

Integrate ESG criteria into the investment process

Integration means that ESG criteria are included in the investment process. These criteria include:

  • Environmental
  • Social
  • Corporate governance

This can have a positive financial impact. Companies with a high ESG risk are excluded. Analysts recognise investments with ESG characteristics that offer economic advantages. They recommend these investments. Integration funds comply with Article 8 of the Disclosure Regulation of the European Union. Please note that investments in securities entail risks in addition to the opportunities presented here.

ESGenius® –
the centrepiece of our sustainability approach

The ESG analysis using our ESGenius® rating model is the centrepiece of our sustainability approach. We use the ESGenius Score® to identify those companies that do not fulfil our integration criteria and therefore have too high an ESG risk.

It should be noted that this sustainable orientation can exclude certain companies from the investable universe.

Erste AM ESGenius® Score

The analysis focuses on the relevant ESG risks, which can be assessed using statistical analysis. Based on this data, Erste AM's Responsible Investment Team creates the proprietary Erste AM ESGenius® Score. Each company receives a sustainability rating ranging from 0 to 100. The minimum score for integration funds is 30.
